The Castle Park

With open views of the beautiful countryside and under the shade of ancient trees, the Baroque park is a favorite place for relaxation not only for hotel guests, but other visitors of the castle as well.

The park was renovated in the spring of 2012. Its landscaping and vegetation was professionally restored, two original pathways were revitalized, and park benches as well as a playground for children were added. The area between the bastions was modified so as to be used for social activities and cultural performances.

The Frantisek Pravda educational trail became a part of the park, with information panels showing the history of the castle and the village of Hradek, acquainting visitors with Frantisek Pravda, with gold-panning in the Ostruzna river, and many more.
